Founded in Portland in 2005, Guardian Games has been a cornerstone of the tabletop community for over 20 years, with locations across Oregon and Washington. What sets us apart is our expertise. The Story Behind Our Logo
Ethea’lathyr, the Green King
Ethea’lathyr was an Emerald Dragon in a homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaign that met at Guardian Games Portland from around 2010 to 2014. He has since been immortalized by the staff in the form of a gigantic mural—if you’ve been to our Portland location, you’ve probably played a game or two under his watchful eye. When we redesigned our logo in 2025, we decided to pay homage to the Green King.
